Startup Park Hub plans to launch a parking pass in Almaty starting at 22 thousand tenge a month. Co-founder Samir Gadirov said the team is preparing three pricing zones. The subscription will give drivers access to multiple car parks through a single app (digitalbusiness.kz).

What happened

The team chose Almaty as its first city outside Azerbaijan. Gadirov says the decision reflects the technological development of Kazakhstan’s market and a partnership with local company Parqour, which develops parking automation systems.

According to Gadirov, Parqour gives the startup access to car parks it works with in Baku and Almaty. In return, Park Hub recommends Parqour’s solutions to owners of buildings that do not yet have automated barriers and licence plate recognition cameras.

The service brings together car parks at different properties: drivers buy a subscription and gain access to participating locations. In the app, they can see car park locations and available spaces, plan a route and reserve a space in advance.

What this means

The team is preparing three pricing zones for Almaty. A subscription covering car parks in the Zhetysu, Turksib, Auezov and Alatau districts is expected to cost around 22 thousand tenge a month.

Access to car parks in the central districts has been priced at 33 thousand tenge a month. A pass covering the entire network, including the business area in the upper part of the city, is expected to cost 45 thousand tenge a month. These are the prices announced by the team ahead of the launch.

“Access to several car parks instead of a pass for just one,” is how Gadirov describes the service’s advantage. The team offers car park owners additional income from spaces that sit empty at certain times of day.

Park Hub’s experience ahead of its Almaty launch

Park Hub has been operating in Baku since May 2026. According to Gadirov, around $40 thousand worth of subscriptions have been sold through the service. After paying car park owners, the team retains 10–15% of subscription revenue.

Eight buildings in Baku are connected to Park Hub, including shopping centres, hotels and parking complexes. The app has 1,400 registered users, though not all have taken out a paid subscription.

To prepare for its expansion into Kazakhstan, the team added a country selector to the app. Gadirov is now looking for a Kazakhstani co-founder who knows Almaty well and will work in the city on a permanent basis.
