RAEM has officially launched Startup Radar — an open, rigorously verified digital directory tracking high-growth technology startups across Kazakhstan and Central Asia. In a regional ecosystem often clouded by PR exaggerations, unverified funding claims, and inactive “ghost projects,” Startup Radar establishes an independent, audited standard of truth for venture investors, founders, and corporate partners.
Why Central Asia Needs an Independent Startup Directory
Over recent years, hundreds of pitch decks have circulated regional incubators claiming inflated multi-million-dollar valuations based on hypothetical projections. For angel syndicates, institutional venture funds, and enterprise innovation directors, separating legitimate companies with verified unit economics from marketing mirages has been a persistent challenge.
What We Include in Startup Radar
Every profile in Startup Radar undergoes rigorous manual editorial verification before publication:
- Verified Founders and Legal Entities: Cross-referencing registered corporate structures in Kazakhstan (AIFC, LLP), Delaware C-Corps, or regional jurisdictions.
- Proven Traction and Commercial Footprint: Verifying active paying customers, monthly recurring revenue (MRR) benchmarks, and live working prototypes.
- Documented Investment History: Checking funding rounds, institutional backer confirmations, and accelerator alumni status (Astana Hub, 500 Global, StartX, Y Combinator).
- Proprietary Technology: Ensuring that projects develop defensible IP, proprietary machine-learning models, or novel hardware rather than basic reselling platforms.
What We Exclude
Startup Radar rejects applications that fail fundamental integrity checks: multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, unlicensed high-yield investment programs, dead projects with no GitHub commits or domain updates for over six months, and clones lacking genuine technological differentiation.
How Founders Can Submit Their Projects
Inclusion in Startup Radar is free. Founders can submit their company profiles directly via the RAEM platform. Following editorial audit and verification of traction metrics, approved companies receive dedicated, search-engine-optimized profile cards indexed across global search engines, connecting them directly with international venture capital.
