Kazakhstani industrial technology startup QazTWIN, founded by engineers Anuar Zhaksylyk (CEO) and Temirlan Bulanbay (CTO), has achieved a major milestone in enterprise digitalization. The company generated over $1 million in commercial revenue, gained acceptance into the prestigious global NVIDIA Inception program, and represented Kazakhstan at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco.
Enterprise Digital Twins and Predictive AI Maintenance
For large-scale mining complexes, petrochemical refineries, and metallurgical processing plants, even a few hours of unexpected machinery breakdown can result in millions of dollars in losses. QazTWIN develops high-fidelity 3D virtual twins of industrial facilities driven by live operational telemetry:
- IT and OT Convergence: Unified data pipeline aggregating live streams from SCADA systems, enterprise ERPs (including SAP and 1C), MES platforms, and hundreds of industrial IoT sensors;
- Predictive AI Diagnostics: Machine learning algorithms forecasting wear and mechanical fatigue on heavy bearings, slurry pumps, and conveyors days before critical failure;
- Virtual Scenario Simulation and Safety: Simulating maintenance workflows and emergency drills inside a risk-free 3D digital model without halting actual factory production.
Global Accelerators and Strategic Partnership with Kcell
The startup completed top international accelerator programs, including Constructor Start in Germany (ranking among the top 15 industrial deep-tech startups) and AlchemistX in Silicon Valley. Domestically, QazTWIN forged a strategic partnership with telecom operator Kcell to roll out private industrial 5G networks for high-frequency telemetry in mining pits, laying the foundation for expansion into the North American heavy industry market.
