Kaspi Red and Kaspi Kredit work differently: Red offers 0% for four months, while the Purchase Loan offers three. According to Kaspi’s official page, the Red limit is up to 500,000 tenge (kaspi.kz). For longer-term loans, the bank shows the exact extra cost in the app before you apply. Instalment plans of up to 24 months depend on the purchase price and the current promotion.

Kaspi Red and Kaspi Kredit: how each option works

Kaspi Red is a separate product for paying for purchases in instalments. You can sign up in the Kaspi.kz app. The standard offer on the official page is four months without interest.

For Kaspi Kredit, also called the Purchase Loan, the bank sets out separate terms for the three-month option: no interest, collateral or insurance. For longer terms, it shows the total extra cost over the full loan period. Approval depends on the customer’s credit history and ability to repay (guide.kaspi.kz).

For more on how the bank’s services have developed, see the history of Kaspi.kz.

Key split-payment terms

When the Kaspi Red limit is restored

The limit is restored once each purchase is paid off in full. Making a scheduled payment and fully paying off a particular purchase therefore have different effects on the amount available to spend.

You can apply for a limit increase at any time. In the app, go to “My Bank” → “Kaspi Red+” → “Increase limit”. The bank assesses your credit history and ability to repay, so an increase is not guaranteed.

How long an instalment plan can last

Kaspi.kz’s separate Instalment Plan offers terms of up to 24 months. The available options depend on the item’s price and the promotion:

Item price Instalment term
10,000–14,999 tenge 3 months
15,000–24,999 tenge 3 or 6 months
25,000–99,999 tenge 3, 6 or 12 months
100,000 tenge or more 3, 6, 12 or 24 months

The inclusion of 24 months in the table does not guarantee that term for every purchase. It also depends on the current offer. Promotional terms for the separate instalment plan do not apply to Kaspi Red’s standard four-month term.

How to tell whether extra costs apply

Kaspi explains that purchases made specifically through an instalment plan carry no extra costs or fees. A Purchase Loan with a term longer than three months does not automatically qualify as an interest-free instalment plan.

Before applying, check the product name, term and total extra cost in the app. A 24-month loan cannot automatically be treated as a “0-0-24” offer. If you are buying a phone, you can also review Kaspi’s trade-in terms.

What happens to your credit history after you close Red+

Closing Kaspi Red+ does not erase your payment history. According to the bank, credit bureaus update the closure information within 10 working days. Information on new agreements is submitted daily.

The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market reminds borrowers that their credit history begins with their first loan and records whether payments are made on time. Every citizen is entitled to one free personal credit report per calendar year (gov.kz).

If your report contains an error, contact the bank or microfinance organisation with supporting documents. You can dispute information held by the First Credit Bureau free of charge through its website.

What to check before buying

Put simply, go by the terms of the specific offer in the app. Before signing up, compare the term, monthly payment and total extra cost. For Red, also check your available limit: the maximum of 500,000 tenge does not mean the bank will approve that amount for everyone.
