Kazakhstan-based gig economy marketplace EasyTap and Uzbekistan’s workforce management provider Verifix have agreed to establish reciprocal joint ventures in both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The strategic alliance aims to fuse permanent employee management with on-demand gig worker sourcing for hourly shifts. The companies publicly announced the agreement on September 30.
The integrated enterprise solution will synchronize operational workload forecasting, automated shift scheduling, talent sourcing, time tracking, and automated payroll disbursements. The joint venture plans to onboard its initial enterprise clients in the fourth quarter of 2026.
How the Unified Service Will Operate
The core objective of the integration is streamlining the shift staffing cycle within a single dashboard. Businesses will no longer need to toggle between disjointed applications or reconcile shift rosters manually across separate systems.
When customer footfall or order volumes surge, managers will be able to automatically identify staffing deficits and request pre-vetted freelance workers directly through the same interface. This capability is particularly relevant for retail chains, hospitality operators, warehousing hubs, and restaurants experiencing volatile daily demand.
What the Partners Bring to the Table
EasyTap operates a specialized marketplace connecting retail and service businesses with independent part-time workers in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. According to company metrics, the platform has registered over 530,000 users and executed more than 60,000 shifts across 200 corporate clients.
Registered user numbers reflect the scale of the acquired talent pool. However, they do not imply that all registered individuals work shifts continuously; monthly active contractor figures were not specified in the press announcement.
Verifix develops an enterprise workforce management (WFM) ecosystem engineered for organizations employing substantial frontline personnel. The platform centralizes shift planning, biometric time tracking, recruitment, HR paperwork, and payroll calculation.
Verifix reports that over 480 enterprises utilize its platform, covering more than 5,000 branch locations and 85,000 full-time staff across five countries.
In their joint release, the partners emphasized the combined footprint of their operations: over 500,000 registered freelancers, 85,000 staff members under management, and more than 700 enterprise clients. These figures represent the historical aggregate across both companies’ standalone operations.
Where Enterprises Expect Cost Savings
The economic rationale of the merger lies in tightly aligning labor overhead with actual business traffic. Maintaining excess staff during lull periods inflates operating expenses, whereas understaffing during peak demand cripples customer service, delays order fulfillment, and disrupts warehouse logistics.
Verifix estimates that precise biometric time tracking saves clients approximately 5% on payroll expenses, while demand-aligned shift scheduling yields an additional 10–15% in operational savings. The company did not disclose the underlying calculation methodology, sample size, or evaluation period in the press release; hence, these figures should be interpreted as claimed performance targets rather than guaranteed enterprise outcomes.
EasyTap contributes the agility of sourcing on-demand hourly labor. For employers, the primary value lies in slashing administrative overhead: store managers spend dramatically less time scrambling for replacements, confirming rosters, and syncing disparate spreadsheets.
The realized financial impact will ultimately depend on contractor availability, scheduling accuracy, and acquisition costs. These metrics will become measurable once early enterprise cohorts launch operations.
What the Platform Offers Gig Workers
The partners outlined plans to develop verified digital work profiles complete with certified shift histories and performance ratings. For entry-level applicants, the system will offer paid apprenticeships with pathways to full-time corporate employment.
Described in promotional materials as a “digital employment record,” the feature’s specific legal and regulatory status remains to be detailed. Currently, it functions as a verified internal reputation and competency record within the platform.
A portable digital record allows freelancers to demonstrate proven reliability to hiring managers, while providing businesses with confidence when inviting repeat contractors or offering full-time positions. The precise relationship between user ratings, shift priority, and wage premiums has yet to be published.
Regional Expansion Through Domestic Leaders
EasyTap and Verifix frame the partnership as a foundational cornerstone for a unified labor infrastructure across Central Asia. Phase one focuses on deploying dedicated joint ventures across Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Each founding team will spearhead product adoption within its native market. This bilateral structure couples scalable proprietary technology with deep, localized enterprise relationships. Nevertheless, regulatory frameworks governing contract labor, tax withholding, and digital payments differ considerably between both jurisdictions and will require tailored compliance architectures.
EasyTap founder and CEO Magzum Tolesh emphasizes the strategic advantage of unifying complementary technologies across dual markets. Verifix co-founder and CEO Mumin Salimov describes the partnership as a seamless evolution from identifying labor shortages to instantly filling them via on-demand sourcing.
Both enterprises plan to unveil a comprehensive roadmap in the coming months. The decisive milestone will be onboarding initial joint enterprise clients in Q4 2026, which will validate whether combining workforce scheduling with on-demand labor can deliver its promised efficiency gains.
