Kazakhstani engineering technology startup Armeta AI has gained entry into the prestigious Alchemist Accelerator in San Francisco and closed a venture capital round of $1 million backed by an American-Qatari investment syndicate. The deeptech venture was founded by entrepreneurs Temirlan Rakhmetzhanov (CEO), Sanzhar Rakhmetzhanov, and Chief Technology Officer Nuraly Baktygaliyev.
Automating Building Code Compliance and Architectural Blueprints
Architectural blueprint coordination and design estimate documentation (DED) verification represent one of the slowest, most dispute-prone bottlenecks in civil construction. Manually reviewing thousands of technical drawings, cross-sections, and engineering specifications against stringent statutory construction codes consumes months of expert labor.
The Armeta AI platform eliminates this friction through an ensemble of multi-agent computer vision and LLM models:
- Automatically inspects complex CAD blueprints and structural engineering notes for spatial collisions, material mismatches, and geometric inconsistencies;
- Cross-references building designs against authoritative regional and national building codes, structural fire standards, and safety bylaws;
- Dramatically compresses the primary blueprint audit turnaround time from 30 days down to a few automated hours.
National Regulatory Alliances and Middle Eastern Growth
In Kazakhstan, the project conducted comprehensive pilot testing in cooperation with state enterprise GosExpertiza. Concurrently, Armeta Inc. incorporated corporate offices in San Francisco, Astana, and Doha. The startup achieved international prominence by winning the Energy Venture Day pitch competition at the global CERAWeek energy summit in Houston. The venture capital proceeds are dedicated toward scaling enterprise sales to commercial developers across the United States and Gulf economies (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE).
