Here’s what’s changing in Kazakhstan on November 1, 2026, and in the days that follow: entry rules, utility rates, Beeline bonuses and Yandex Plus pricing. The rollout of the ETA electronic travel authorisation will begin on the first of the month, with applications remaining optional until June 30, 2027 (gov.kz). It applies to foreign nationals who do not need a visa, and the first phase will cover Aktau Airport and four road border crossings. Applications will be free. The authorisation is valid for 180 calendar days, but permitted lengths of stay in the country remain unchanged: an ETA’s validity does not mean its holder can stay in Kazakhstan for the full 180 days. Heating and water rates in Zerenda district will also fall on November 1, Janymda will be updated on November 2–4, and the subscription price will change on November 5.
What’s changing in Kazakhstan for foreign nationals from November 1, 2026
Kazakhstan will begin phasing in ETA, an electronic travel authorisation for foreign nationals who do not need a visa. The first phase will cover Aktau International Airport and four road border crossings: Urlyutobe, Aukhatty, Atameken and Nurly Zhol.
Applications must be submitted through QazETA at least 72 hours before entry — three days. Applications are free, and the authorisation is valid for 180 calendar days. Permitted lengths of stay in Kazakhstan remain unchanged.
Applications will remain optional until June 30, 2027. From July 1, they will become mandatory in the cases set out in Government Resolution No. 890 of October 10, 2026.
Heating rates to fall in Granitny and Zerenda
Rates for households and organisations in Zerenda district will fall from November 1. The reason is unjustifiably inflated costs in Zerenda Service’s tariff calculations.
The average heating rate in the settlement of Granitny will fall from 4,014.60 to 1,121.22 tenge per gigacalorie — a unit of heat energy. That is a reduction of 72.07%. In the village of Zerenda, the rate will fall from 7,915.48 to 6,326.64 tenge per gigacalorie, or by 20.07%.
Water rates will fall from 254.97 to 234 tenge per cubic metre — a reduction of 8.22%. According to the prosecutor’s office, the rights of 2,903 consumers, including 70 businesses, have been protected (gov.kz).
Beeline to update Janymda bonuses on November 2–4
S! bonuses will be renamed bonuses, and accumulated gaming COINS will be converted automatically at a 1:1 rate. Bonuses are valid for 180 days from the date they are credited (beeline.kz).
Users will still be able to top up their mobile balance with bonuses through the top-up section in Janymda. Withdrawals to an electronic wallet will no longer be available.
Yandex Plus through Tele2 and Altel to cost 2,499 tenge
From November 5, a monthly Yandex Plus subscription through Tele2 will cost 2,499 tenge. Existing subscriptions will continue automatically at the new price, with no further action required (tele2.kz).
Altel will introduce the same price on the same date — 2,499 tenge per month. Existing subscriptions will also continue automatically at the new price (altel.kz).
