November 2026 will bring changes to mobile service terms, Janymda rewards, subscriptions, TV channel line-ups and Transtelecom’s contract in Kazakhstan (digitalbusiness.kz). From 5 November, Yandex Plus through Tele2 and Altel will cost 2,499 tenge a month. Some changes began in late October.

Beeline adds mobile service with Starlink

In late October, Beeline added a range of plans with Starlink satellite mobile internet. The company says the service is currently available only on Android smartphones. Read more about the technology in our article on Starlink Mobile at Beeline.

The operator also closed its “Mega for 7999”, “Mega for 11999”, “Premium Family x2”, “Premium Family x4” and “Premium Family x6” plans to new customers. Existing subscribers can continue using them.

Since 28 October, customers signing up for certain contract plans have been able to get a device. Options include a smartphone, a Yandex Station or other electronics.

Janymda Coins will become bonus points

From 1 to 15 November, all accumulated Coins in the Janymda app will automatically be converted into bonus points at a 1:1 rate. Each Coin will earn one bonus point. Users will not need to take any action.

Bonus points can be used to pay for mobile services, travel, pharmacy purchases and other services in the Janymda app.

Amediateka removed from QINO

On 30 October, Tele2 and Altel changed the streaming services included in QINO on the “Zhanūya 4”, “Zhanūya 6” and “Zhanūya 8” plans. The subscription no longer includes Amediateka.

All other terms of these three plans remain unchanged.

Yandex Plus will cost 2,499 tenge

From 5 November, a monthly Yandex Plus subscription through Tele2 and Altel will cost 2,499 tenge.

Existing subscriptions will automatically continue at the new price. Users do not need to do anything.

Beeline and Kazakhtelecom will change their TV channel line-ups

From 1 November, Beeline will change the TV channel line-up on BeeTV and its “Internet at Home” TV service. The channels are being removed because the contract with the rights holder cannot be renewed.

In late October and early November, Kazakhtelecom is removing some TV channels from its cable network in Astana, Almaty and Pavlodar. “Toi Duman” will also be removed from the cable line-up from 1 November.

Transtelecom will update its public contract

Changes to JSC Transtelecom’s public contract will take effect on 1 November. The contract covers telecommunications services for individuals.
